Below sit the terms governing bandgmovers.com and run by B and G Movers, the Tampa moving outfit that Brett Donovan and Greg Hayes founded back in 2015. Spend a while reading through here or send us a price request, and you accept the conditions set out; they apply to full-service jobs all over Tampa Bay together with the cross-country hauls our own crew handles behind the wheel.
Your contract lands straight with the mover
Walk through how a booking forms: in arrive the details of your move, back comes one set price from the office, you autograph it, and right there an agreement takes hold linking you with B and G Movers, nobody else slotted in the middle. The trucks belong to us, every crew member riding along earns a W-2 wage under our roof, and our federal operating authority stays registered to the company by name.

What working with us actually runs you
One figure alone ever shows up on your tab here: the total on your binding quote, due the second the last carton clears our ramp. Each step leading there carries no fee:
- Quoting you costs zero
- Holding your slot costs zero
- The paperwork costs zero
- Nothing gets skimmed off your final bill
Why your signed figure stays put
Binding carries its plain meaning: the total you autographed is the total that falls due. Two situations deserve spelling out clearly.
- A real shift in scope, an added room, a dropped room, or access proving different from how you spelled it out, brings a corrected written quote ahead of moving day, with zero curbside ambush.
- Whatever went unapproved beforehand can never surface on the invoice once we have emptied the truck.
How coverage shields your shipment
Each load starts off at the protection floor federal rule pins down, and bumping it upward to match whatever rides along stays entirely your choice.
| The tier | What it means |
|---|---|
| Full-value protection | Lands in the range of 1 through 3 percent against the value you declare, a wise bump-up the moment fragile or costly belongings ride along |
| Released value | A baseline of 60 cents per pound, written into federal rule, kicking in by default until you pick something higher |
A claim, should one arise, routes to our Kennedy Boulevard office; the federal stretch for opening it spans a full nine-month window, with our own crew resolving it in-house rather than farming the matter out.
Deposits, plus backing out
Reserving your spot on the B and G schedule calls for a refundable deposit running $100 to $200.
- Flag it with us around 72 hours out and the whole deposit lands back with you
- Cancel on the very morning we are due and a slice can be kept, paying for the crew hours we held empty on your account
On cancellations, your signed quote holds the final say
The lines above sketch the typical scenario alone. Exact cancellation language gets printed onto whatever quote bears your signature, and that signed sheet wins out any time the wording diverges.
Where our liability tops out
On any job riding under a signed binding quote, our answerability sits boxed in by a trio of boundaries:
- Whatever your printed quote lays out
- For any stretch hopping over a state border, the cross-state household-goods regulation found in Part 375 of 49 CFR plus the standards bundled with it
- For any stretch staying wholly inside the state, whichever Florida statute applies
To the extent statute allows, the cargo-coverage figure stamped onto the quote bearing your signature fixes the most we could ever be liable for.
A couple of things your submission must carry
Two requests ride along with every price request you send:
- Keep it accurate: valid ZIP codes both ends, a real moving day, plus a room rundown matching your actual home.
- Skip bot-fired and duplicate submissions; anything a script kicks out simply gets discarded.
To the extent statute permits, turning down a job stays our prerogative.
General background, no professional advice
Whatever sits posted here, this page alongside our FAQ, our route writeups, plus the neighborhood pages, adds up to broad moving know-how and not a thing beyond that. None of it fills the shoes of a lawyer, of a CPA, or of a tax pro. When a move gets snarled in probate, in a split-up, or in some company stake, a licensed specialist working that field earns a conversation up front.
Clearance to circle back
Tapping submit on that quote request gives B and G Movers clearance to get in touch by phone, by email, or via automated text whenever circumstances warrant, while whatever your wireless carrier bills for texts and data could enter the picture.

Edits ahead
Reworking happens here and there, each round nudging that date up top forward. Hanging around the site beyond an edit reads as agreement to whatever version runs live by then.
